AN OPTIMISTIC LOOK: Why I Chose To Tell Untold Stories Of Creatives And Common People
…I’ve always been fascinated by the stories of ordinary people who do extraordinary things. The creatives who toil away at their craft day in and day out with every little recognition. The common people who go about their lives with little fanfare.
“I think I’m a storyteller or maybe I’m just not a storyteller yet until I’ve told at least one story”, I thought to myself.
Stories have the ability to inspire, educate and entertain. Stories have the ability to connect us. Stories have the potential to make a difference. Stories have the ability to change the world – And this is “the power of stories”
I have always been a creative person. I’ve always loved to write and I’ve always been drawn to stories but it wasn’t a childhood thing. Being a creative person, was a discovery while growing up. There’s something about creativity and ingenuity of common people that fascinates me. It’s their life, their works and untold stories. We live in a world that values productivity and results over creativity and artistry. This is something that I have always struggled with.
Economically speaking, creativity is not cardinal (something that can be measured in numbers), rather it is ordinal ( something that is ranked over other preferences) – So sorry, but i had to use my knowledge of economics here. But i also know that it is something that is incredibly important, and that it has the power to change lives.
I’ve always been interested in stories – in particular, the ones that are left untold and often overlooked. I’ve always been fascinated by the stories of ordinary people who do extraordinary things. The creatives who toil away at their craft day in and day out with every little recognition. The common people who go about their lives with little fanfare. Unfortunately, there are so many fascinating people in the world with incredible stories to share, yet their voices go unheard. This is what motivates me to write.
This is so true for the stories of creatives and common people. Their stories are often lost in the shuffle of daily life or overshadowed by the stories of celebrities and politicians, while the majority of people are left in the background. But i believe that every story is important. I believe that everyone deserves to be heard. I didn’t want to just tell any old story, though. I wanted to find untold stories. The stories of regular people, the ones who don’t usually get their voices heard. I wanted to build a community of storytellers (creatives and common people) who could share their experiences with the world.
We live in a world that values productivity and results over creativity and artistry…
I felt there was a need for this kind of storytelling, and i was determined to be the one to do it. I want to change that. I want to take photographs. I want to view the indepth of people and the world. I want to tell the stories of the people who are making a difference – whether it is in their own lives or the lives of others. I decided to use my platform and myself as a brand to tell these stories. These are the stories that inspire and motivate us.
I believe that creativity should be celebrated in all forms, not just the traditional art forms. Too often, we only hear about the “successes” and “achievements” of a handful of people. But what about the stories of the everyday creatives and common people? The ones who don’t always get recognition? What about the “conflicts“, “mistakes“, “challenges” and “lessons“?
My mission is to “Tell Untold Stories Of Creatives and Common people”. There is something special about hearing a voice that’s been unheard. It’s a reminder that everyone has a story, and that even the most ordinary people have their stories and they can be extraordinary. It isn’t going to be easy, but i also hope it will be worth it. I believe every story told will bring me closer to my goal of building a large community of storytellers (creatives and common people).
I hope that by reading these stories, you’ll be inspired to follow your own dreams and pursue your interests. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll realize that you’re not so different from these people after all. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us all. Thank you for reading to this point. If you find this post inspirational, please share it and stay tuned for more updates. Looking forward to hearing and connecting with you ❤️.
